SCM30 solar panel battery controller
MPPT stands for Maximum Power Point Tracking and is a technique that allows a charge controller to get more power from a solar inverter than if it did not contain MPPT technology. This technique determines the optimal operating point so that maximum power efficiency can be achieved, and then converts this into a lower battery voltage. A MPPT charge current controller can extract up to 30% more power from a solar panel than one without MPPT.
